Motherhood is a story worth telling—one that’s often lived behind the camera rather than in front of it. I know this because, growing up, I don’t have many photos with my mom or my grandparents.
That changed last month when I did my very first studio session with my mom. You heard that right. Even as a photographer, capturing love stories through engagements, weddings, and maternity sessions, I realized something was missing—mothers disappeared from the frame the moment they had kids. That was true for my family too.

What do I receive?
For those who participate will receive a in-studio photography session (valued at $450), a portrait featured in our Exhibition, and a $150 gift certificate towards your portrait purchase.
How do I book the date and time of my session?
After you submit our application form, we’ll carefully review it. We’ll arrange a brief phone call to discuss all the details to ensure we’re the perfect fit. Please remember that our sessions are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay!
To secure your date and time in our studio’s calendar, we require a refundable $250 retainer to book and confirm your spot. This will be refunded after the session.
Can my partner or other family members join the session?
Absolutely! While this exhibition focuses on motherhood, we welcome partners and children to be part of the experience.
What should I wear for my session?
We’ll send you a customized email with clothing suggestions once you book a session with us. You’re also welcome to bring multiple outfit options to your session. Here is a little Photo Session Outfit guide to help you plan ahead.
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
You’re not alone! Most moms say this, and guess what? Within five minutes, they’re laughing, snuggling, and totally forgetting the camera is even there. We’ll guide you the whole way!
How will I know if my portrait is selected for the exhibition?
All participants will be featured in our gallery, and some may also be highlighted in special promotions leading up to the exhibition. We’ll keep you updated!
When will I receive my final portraits?
You’ll receive your final edited portraits before the exhibition, with an option to purchase additional prints and keepsakes if desired.
